Does anyone know how much weight is given to the full scale IQ in the admission decision for pace? Would a child need to score in the superior range to be considered or would like high average range have a chance? My older child is at pace and scored a lot higher so I am thinking we may have to consider another school for my child applying to pre-1st now.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't think that Pace is as score-driven as Westminster, for example. Seems to me that putting all your eggs in one basket is risky. I would put in some applications at other schools as well, unless you are happy with your public school as Plan B.

Read my response; didn't mean to make it sound like I don't think your child has a chance. Sibs do get first preference, so you've got a leg up there. But just in case, I'd consider another option or two.

Thanks- no our public is not an option.
We are applying to another school too. It would be nice
if they were at the same school but I will trust
the admission process to see if it is the right fit.
Fingers crossed it is. Thanks for the input!!!!
