I see GA is not on the list of the 23 states.

How, if any, will this new housing 'paperwork crisis', affect GA home prices/inventory?

Perhaps, does anyone see GA or any of the 27 other non-listed states, being added to the list?

My question is: If the 23 states have been found to have just 'signed' away thousands of foreclosures to move forward w/out being 'read'(gee sounds like the Obamacare bill), who's to say that GA or the 26 other non-listed states, 'read' their thousands of foreclosures in any more thorough manner?

The banks are reviewing their paperwork etc to be in better compliance. Based on what I read, it seemed to indicate that most of these homes would go into foreclosure in any case. So if anything this will just prolong the issue, rather than give any real relief.

The list of states in question are states which have more complex procedures (a court approval is needed before a foreclosure can happen), and Georgia is not one of those states.
