Now we are going to include Buckhead in our search, for Buckhead we would increase our budget to up to three million, but would we find anything very nice for three, because we have hear how expensive it is? We are thinking it might make more sense to just live in the city instead of the suburbs and we would save so much time when shopping and going to restaurants. Also are there a lot of interracial couples in the Buckhead area and are the private schools diverse? What about the schools we know some parts of northern Buckhead are zoned to Fulton County Schools, so is that technically Sandy Springs?, they have a 30327 zip code? We were thinking, do most people in that area just go private because it seems to be that people zoned to Atlanta Public Schools go private, in the 30327? We saw one house we absolutely love on Long Island Drive that was zoned to Fulton Schools, and it was ITP. But the thing is it had no Terrace Level?(It comes in well under budget) Would it be a bad idea to buy a home that is lacking a terrace level, it just seems for resale that might be bad? It also then eliminates a lot of extra square footage. Also the master was upstairs, we prefer first floor. We never plan on leaving Atlanta, but we might move to another house, in a few years? We also like another house which is a bit over budget, but we could do it, it is in a little gated neighborhood of West Paces(no guard though) it is brand new and stunning with a pool and it is brick. So would you go with in Buckhead/Sandy Springs(ITP) or out to the Suburbs(Sugarloaf or CCOS)?
