I live in the Peachtree Corners area. Today I went to the Peachtree Corners branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library, and while the staff was very friendly and helpful and the system itself seems very good, I don't know that it is the type of library I would love to spend hours browsing in. What branch of the Gwinnett County library system is your favorite?

What exactly was wrong with the library? There really isn't a huge difference from branch to branch. The system is setup as a neighborhood system, so all branches have essentially the same amenities.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. I didn't have a problem with the system amenities. More, I was looking for a place that might be good for studying, and would prefer one that was larger, less crowded, and had better natural lighting. Does that help?

Dacula or Hamilton Mill

Peachtree Corners is usually pretty busy and has an open design with only one room that might be quieter--the periodical room.

FWIW.

I'm right between the Centerville and Elizabeth Williams (Snellville) libraries. I have noticed that both are quite a bit busier when school is in, but both also have 'quiet' areas which might be your best bet at any library.

Definitely not Duluth for your criteria - I live about 1/2 way in between Peachtree Corners and Duluth branches, and Duluth is always much louder and more crowded than PC. The Norcross branch is very small - not much natural lighting either.

I go to Dacula branch often, even though the Hamilton Mill branch is closer to me, I haven't been to that one yet :-)
