We're buying a house in Roswell in the Hembree Springs elementary area (Alpharetta Hwy near Holcomb Bridge). We have a 6-year-old with developmental delays from a genetic disorder. I haven't spoken with Fulton County schools yet but I wanted to hear from parents whose kids are in the special ed programs in this area. My daughter has pretty serious needs so I don't even know if Hembree Elementary will be the school she attends as she will need a self-contained class.
Feedback please?

I can only comment from the perspective of a high school student with an IEP. We moved into the Milton HS area. The services he received were top notch. In fact, his team still keeps in touch with him now that he's in college, just to make sure they made the right recommendations for him.

We're buying a house in Roswell in the Hembree Springs elementary area (Alpharetta Hwy near Holcomb Bridge). We have a 6-year-old with developmental delays from a genetic disorder. I haven't spoken with Fulton County schools yet but I wanted to hear from parents whose kids are in the special ed programs in this area. My daughter has pretty serious needs so I don't even know if Hembree Elementary will be the school she attends as she will need a self-contained class.
