Other than doctor's offices, have you looked for openings at either of the two local hospitals -- St. Bernard's or NEA Baptist?

Those companies have to have some sort of medical person/persons available there on site. For accidents that are severe they probably have to send them to one of the minor medical clinics.
A school nurse is usually an LPN and if they do have an RN they pay horrible. I will probably try the hospital and/or nursing agencies.

yea its usually the HR person they have to make the decision on whether to send the person to NEA clinic or to the hospital. The HR person also is the one that bandages wounds and related issues here.

Have you tried the Jonesboro Human Dev Center. They are a long term care facility for persons with mental and physical disabilities. I know that doesn't sound tempting to most. But I have worked at a center for 10 years now. It's the most rewarding job i have ever had and I have been a nurse for 19 years and have worked in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.
