Hi all,

What's the local paper of choice there? What do you read on Sundays/daily?

I'd like to read up on things online if I could before moving....

Thanks in advance...

The large daily newspaper in the Phoenix area is the Arizona Republic. azcentral.com is the online version.

The Phoenix New Times is an alternative newsweekly. I don't agree with it all the time, but it offers a useful perspective that is different from the Republic.

Ray Stern, Sarah Fenske, and Michele Laudig are my three favorite staff writers. Some of the others are not as good.

Default Try the East Valley Tribune

The Arizona Republic has turned too far to the left and is losing circulation. In the Phoenix metropolitan area, I prefer reading the East Valley Tribune.

It's actually a joke of a newspaper. You would think with the size of the city they could get a decent newspaper.

Since you are looking at Buckeye, I'd suggest West Valley View
