Honus:

You nailed it in a nutshell concerning LHC.

You would be off considering relocating to either Bullhead or even Kingman IMHO.

Honus I also have to agree with pretty much everything you said. I will throw in that the pay for a RN in Havasu isnt the best a RN can do better in Ca to me $25 an hr for a RN isnt good enough pay they work their tails off.
The heat is always here in the summer and zero jobs that are worth anything.
The good is house prices are half of what they were a few years ago.
The other good is winters are very nice for weather and boating all year is a bonus.

Have a question for all the nurses out there, new one, older ones, all of you guys...Whats going on in the nursing field right now? I cant find a job for the life of me. I have been on a total of 5 interviews since April, and I havent been able to land a job, much less find very many to apply for here in Arizona. I have been a RN for about five years and I was wondering if any of you guys out there are having similiar problems. If so please do share you info.

Lake Havasu shows some openings and I would bet that Bullhead City does as well. Good luck with your search.
Here is the website for Havasu you might have to input some information to find exactly what you are looking for.

Have you actually looked in the local Kingman paper?

I'm an RN in SoCal. Although there's a need for more RN's, it seems the hospitals have frozen the positions and are working short (what else is new). They seem to be hiring only experienced nurses since they don't have the money for training. I know the hospitals in Havasu and Kingman have constant ads looking for RN's but it's been awhile since I've ck'd their pay scale.

The pay scale here in Havasu is around $25 hr give or take a few bucks.
The turnover rate is high here in Lake Havasu, its a you either Love it here or Hate it here City, not to much in between. Im not sure about Kingmans pay or the turnover rate
