This is great news since with the easy availability of so many types of birth control, abortions should be very rare.
If planned parenthood did not make so much money off abortions by selling baby parts there would be much less abortions.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey Expected To Sign Three Abortion-Restricting Bills - Breitbart

Quote:
Republican Gov. Doug Ducey is expected to sign three new measures that would restrict abortions, prohibit experimentation on tissue from aborted babies, and ban Planned Parenthood from the Arizona state employee payroll deduction contribution program.

The new legislation comes on the heels of an undercover video series exposing Planned Parenthood’s apparent practices of selling the body parts of babies it aborts on the open market, and altering the position of babies during abortion in order to harvest the most intact organs.

Similar provisions were struck down in Texas by SCOTUS, is this our annual expensive waste of time? We will see...

The AZ Leigislature's sole purpose seems to be a welfare program for the state's lawyers.

So we have videos and confessions from planned parenthood harvesting baby parts for sale and liberals have no concern for the babies being victimized? Why I am I not surprised?

1. Planned Parenthood has been cleared, they were not selling baby parts, however, the makers of the videos have been indicted.

2. Fetuses are aborted, not babies.

3. Aborted fetuses, just like miscarried fetuses, are going to be disposed of, usually as medical waste. Some miscarried fetuses are flushed down the toilet. Where's the outrage?

4. Whether the aborted fetus is disposed of as medical waste or used for research, women are still going to choose to abort.

{Fun Fact: Dr. Ben Carson used aborted fetuses for research.}

BTW, when an actual baby dies, do think its organs should be harvested to save the life of another baby in need of an organ? You know, cut it all up for its parts? Hmmm?

You do know, don't you, that someone gets paid to cut it up, someone gets paid to pack the parts for transport, someone gets paid to transport the parts, someone gets paid to use the parts to save another infant and the hospital gets paid for the use of its facilities. Ya, know, everyone gets paid all along the way, they get paid for their services. Are you OK with that?

And......liberals aren't the ones always looking for ways to cut funding to mothers trying to provide for babies that have exited the birth canal.....that would be conservatives. Concern for babies? That's a hell of a way to show it.

No need to blame the lawyers, blame the legislature and the Governor, the lawyers are just there to push this through the court system. If people would vote we would have this problem. Can the residents of this state FINALLY wake up and realize how damaging our state government is? Probably not, so long as da libruls don't indoctrinate them with their book learnin' they are happy with these stupid yearly battles.

Be glad North Carolina is having their SB1070 moment right now with regard to LGBTQ Rights.

Not blaming the lawyers at all.

I will blame gerrymandered districts and the ridiculous amount of our if state money that influences our politics along with a populace that can't see past a letter to realize they are being gamed

Very frustrating

100% agree that abortions should be rare these days with contraception easily affordable and accessible. At the same time, those rare cases when abortions are necessary are none of anybody else's business ... although the religious freaks seem to want to keep it a public & political matter instead of a private matter. As long as abortions are paid for by private money, the government shouldn't be involved.

These bills are just wasteful attempts by the so called social conservatives to restrict abortions even further. The fact of the matter is that no matter how many abortion laws are passed, people will still find ways to get them. Even if abortion is fully outlawed, women will still have them (safe or not). I'd highly suggest that the state Legislature devote more of its attention toward more essential matters instead of what goes on in somebody's private life.
