Hi... Is there really much difference in the summer temps between these 2 towns? Anyone living in Kingman or Bullhead City.. Please give your input, Thanks!

Uh yes there is one has a river running next to it.

But really it is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. These temp extremes take you all the way down Mohave Valley into Needles around Golden Shores and Topock area.

In direct sun both can be brutal.

As we both know; under the shade, Kingman summers are significantly cooler than along the River by about 10-15 degrees.

But being by the river you can always jump in and cool off very fast. Not easy in Kingman

Kingman's higher altitude keeps the temp lower than BHC. I bought a truck in BHC 7/6/07 and I believe it was 126F. Even the salesman didn't want to go outside!

Kingman is appx 3200-3500 ft elevation and it's about 500-900 feet at the river . . . depending on your source. So the temperature is noticeably different for sure! It rains more in Kingman in the winter, and the winds down along the river are stronger.
The summer temps are about 15-20 degrees different between the two.
