Wew! It was really pouring yesterday and today and the parkinglot where I work was starting to flood. My balcony is flooded with water. This is the most rain I have seen since I moved here. It's nice though, I'm glad it let up long enough for me to walk home from work.

Yep, PaperMoon . . . the MONSOONS have arrived.

Not sure where you live but it Came Down In Buckets around River and Stone.

Isn't it amazing how the temperature drops 30 or more degrees in a matter of minutes?

The biggest bummer Bummer is there is no rain up here yet. Only dust. A lot of dust. I hope for my cars sake there will be a lot of rain into the night.

We had two massive monsoons up here in the Verde Valley; a fabulous one in Sedona on Sun., and a wild one in Cottonwood on Mon. ~ that one caused a power failure and left tons of hail sitting on the ground. Each one dropped the temperature by 30 degrees.

I was at work when the storm hit Cottonwood but my mom told me there was hail just piled up against the front of my house along the sliding glass doors. We didn't lose power though, which surprised me. When it first started to rain some of the employees at work were out front just standing in it and loving it! lol I was coming from the back of the store but could smell it as I got closer to the front. LOVE that summer storm smell...cold rain on hot asphalt. Yeah...I'm nuts.

We sat out in the front yard to watch the fireworks and I actually had to put on a sweatshirt because the breeze was COLD!
