I will be driving from Bullhead City to Lake Havasu City as part of my road trip in about a week. Google Maps wants me to go 95/Needles/40/95. But I see this County Road 1 going around the Goose Lake area. Is that road decent to drive with a normal midsize car? It looks like an interesting area and I would like to see it, if the road is ok.

Oh sure, all the roads in that area are paved roads in good shape. You won't have any problems.

It's a good road, much more scenic than Needles.
