Not sure if anyone on here would know much about this, But..is there much (if any) truck and otr tire work in the Ancourage area?? If so what would the average pay be around there for this line of work? Also, what about truck driving jobs? Although I would imagine that there is somewhat of a demand for drivers in just about all areas of the US, Im just curious as to rather or not there are always job openings for truckers in Anchorage beings that there are limited highways and all.

AKStafford provided a couple of the better resources for looking for employment. Carlile Transporation Systems is one of the larger trucking firms in the state that you can check directly with. There are always seasonal trucking jobs available if you have your Class A CDL. If you have dump experience you can haul dirt/gravel in the summer and snow in the winter.
