I apologize if this question has been asked.

But I am inquiring on any of the sweeter coconut rums.

I've had Malibu and Captain Morgan a long while ago and they weren't too impressive. Any other suggestions?

I don't go for flavored spirits at all because I can't be sure if the flavors came from nature or out of Givaudan's Cincinnati lab.

Seems like something you could do yourself though. I know there are infusion bottles for this sort of thing.

I personally don't care for the coconut flavor, but my DH loves his Pina Colodas. My sister bought me a Vodka that she thought w/Pineapple flavored (drink of choice), however it is loaded with coconut flavor too, can't even taste the pineapple. It is called Johnny Love Aloha (pineapple flavored vodka). I am not sure where she got it. You may want to try that, I know it isn't rum, but it has that coconut flavor!

Sailor Jerrys is a sweeter spiced rum...with a bit more octane!

Cruzan Coconut Rum is absolutely the very best. Incredible flavor. In the last few years the Cruzan distillery has come out with an extensive selection of flavored rums which are excellent. Apart from the coconut there is banana, black cherry, citrus, mango, orange, pineapple, raspberry and vanilla.

I don't care for Malibu because it's creamy (the Cruzan is not) and Captain Morgan is a spiced rum and even where that's concerned, I think the Cruzan Clipper beats it.

Cheers!

I think Tortuga's coconut has the truest coconut flavor of the rums I have tried. I don't think I have tried Cruzan's coconut rum as I was thoroughly unimpressed with their banana flavor, but I may give it a try as I have yet to see Tortuga outside of the Caymans.

I think Coconut Jack is pretty good for mixing. Really strong coconut flavor.
