I usually enjoy mostly Chardonnay, with Chianti or Pinot Noir as my favorite red. But I recently re-discovered a new favorite - Carmenere. My favorite grocery (Publix) was having a sale on Natura Carmenere; it's organic and absolutely delicious! I am going to stock up! Don't worry, it's morning, not drinking now; enjoyed it last night!

Just poured a glass of Pinot. I have been busy since we got home from church. I have both salads made, the ribs are on and have been now for about 3 hours, the chicken has been browned and the beans are ready just to heat up. I decided I deserved a drink or 3 or 4 or more. Crowd will be here in about an hour or some will anyway.

Did you really enjoy it last night or just enjoy it? I really enjoyed mine. You are lucky to have Publix even if I think they are a little pricey. Two of our 3 kids live in FLorida, so we are very accustom to shopping there, and yes, buying wine!!! We can't buy alcohol in AR on Sundays (what a stupid law) luckily we are only a couple miles from the MO border and they know where the money is. yes, we can buy there on Sundays or any other day.

Yummy! Just had some more carmenere tonight! Man that stuff is good! Publix I find has some pretty good deals on wine. This stuff was on sale two for $12, and it is usually $10-12 for one bottle at some other places I have seen. Not sure how long that will continue. By the way, MNita, that wine is from Chile, like your beloved Malbec so you might like it!

That is a silly law, not being able to buy alcohol on Sundays - what does that accomplish, anyhow...
