Bota Box Nighthawk Black--I finally broke down and bought boxed wine. This is dark red and delicious! I hope it will still be good after a month as advertised. I paid 23 for the box and it equals 4 bottles.....
Absinthe. It's all that's in my liquor cabinet 14 kinds of it. I hope to get that to 30 kinds in good time. Today I had glasses of Jade Nouvelle Orleans, Butterfly Classic absinthe, and Sauvage.
I really love this stuff
The collection has grown significantly since this pic was taken...

Ooooo... Very nice!!!
It's been too long since I've had Absinthe. In the past I've had Un Emile 68. Yummy! Shipping from the UK is now too costly. I'm going to NY soon, and will either get a Longrow Scotch or Pernod Absinthe.
I must say I never quite appreciated the slotted spoons, sugar cube, and dripped cold water. After a couple failed attempts at that, what I did was take a tall glass, fill it with ice cubes, add one shot of absinthe, and fill the balance with water. Absinthe cooler. Geez, those were so good. It would louche very nicely, though it wasn't as green as others, but it was wonderful. It was very refreshing, though one was usually enough.
Havin' a Cow, a Bordeaux blend (Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot) from Grande River Vineyards I picked up last year in Grand Junction.
