I'm sure there'll be another night when you're in the mood to try something different and here are a couple of really delicious concoctions which are easy to make:

1. The Princess Cocktail which was specially formulated for the wedding celebration of Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly. Equal parts of bourbon, grenadine and cream.

2. Amaretto on the rocks with the juice of one whole lemon and a splash of ginger ale.

Too early even in the Caribbean but I might just have one of those later on!!!

The Sazerac cocktail is the perfect drink for a nice fall evening. Smooth taste of bourbon, slightly sweet, with a hint of anise, and just a bit of bitters. Finish off with a twist of lemon.

It's apple harvest time so a shot of sour apple booze, a shot of vodka, a shot of apple juice and a slice of apple.
