My boyfriend and I want to go eat greek tonight. Where's the best place to go? Location doesn't matter just the quality of the food.
I know the Olympia Cafe downtown is really good....but is it the best?

I have been to Yanni’s and Olympia Cafe several times over the years. They are both good:
Yanni’s Mediterranean
3109 E. Central
Albuquerque, NM

Olympia Cafe
2210 Central Avenue, S.E.
Albuquerque, NM

It's a toss-up. I like Yanni's patio.

Apples and Oranges, in my opinion.

Olympia is more of a 'street food' / kebab joint
Olympia is a flavor sensation and I head there (I live around the corner) whenever I need a good heavy meal to hit the spot. Good post-drinking food (though they are not open late).

Yannni's is an haute-cuisine take on Greek / Mediterranean food.
Yanni's has a very nice ambiance and is suitable for impressing a date or celebrating a special occasion. Also, they have a nice bar that does cocktails and fancy drinks.

This post is too late, but I love the Mykonos Cafe. I only get up there about once or twice a year though. There's a B1G1F coupon in the Entertainment book each year. I also like Yanni's Mediterrean.

Athens isn't there anymore, it closed and there is a decent steakhouse in it's place. It lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. The place was way too pretentious for it's own good. I mean, come on....a seating captain?! In a restaurant next to a dollar store?! What a joke.

Watch your back in those greek places though! Not that there's anything wrong with that.
