This years UNM football schedule is much improved over previous years, the non conference schedule is GREAT!
The game day atmosphere is great with lots of tailgating & pre-game festivities. If you have not been to a LOBOS football game, I encourage you to check it out.

That would absolutely crush some texans if they lost to UNM! Do it!

Yup first game this saturday against TCU at home. In case you don't follow lobo sports, Texas Christian University (TCU) is in the Mountain West Conference so this is a season-opening conference game for us which would do wonders if we started 1-0. Bring on the football season!

I am really excited about joining the Lobo mania as a a new student! The stadium is awesome, and I've been hearing the band practice all week on campus -- sounds good! My alma mater (Cal Poly SLO) never had that great of a football team (and team pride wasn't a big deal), so I hope pride/sports are better here!

TCU is a tough way to start the season. I hope the Lobo's can get off to a good start with a victory in that one.

Red face Traitor?

I live in Fort Worth, two miles from TCU, but I'm still rooting for the UNM Lobos. If that doesn't make me an honorary New Mexican, I don't know what will.
