Any ideas here? We're coming from Corrales, and remote schooling just isn't working for my first grader. Think we need to make the private school move. But know very little about what might be available/is good.

The only private elementary schools I know of that are doing in person school are Sunset Mesa and Hope Christian school. There may be more, but these are the two I know of. I don't know if they have space, but you can certainly ask.

It looks like Escuela del Sol Montessori is teaching in person at the moment, and Manzano Day School appears to be doing a "hybrid schedule." Both of those schools are small (and spendy) and seem to be operating under some capacity requirements, so no idea if they have space right now.

A lot (if not all?) of the Catholic schools in town are doing in-person instruction too.

I have an elementary-age kiddo and am aware of at least a few families who have located a tutor who's willing to teach their kids in person. In some cases, they've formed education pods with a few other families so it's more of a small classroom setting.

I know I'm a few months late, but what about Cottonwood Montessori in Corrales?
