Hello - Searching around on info/activities for Rio Rancho and came across Idalia Road Marketplace. It doesn't have any info other than - Idalia Road Marketplace will be open every Saturday & Sunday beginning April 3 thru November 1.
It's a small marketplace, maybe 20 vendors, we have only been once, about two months ago. We will probably go again. I met a few vendors I might talk to again.
The Band was good (no pic's below), it was hot July 31st, 2010...
I think what hurts this marketplace is its location. Not many people know its there as its a bit off the beaten path.
We have friends who sell there, so we go quite often.
Where exactly is it? The vendors look like they're all top notch. Looks like a good gift destination. Poncho, thanks for knocking that answer out of the park. Pics and everything!

Tell everyone you know about the marketplace. Not many people go because they are unaware of it.
There is a lady there (see lady in baker's hat in photos above), who makes the most awesome muffins. They are $3 each but worth it. She calls them mile high muffins as they are about 6 inches high. You could easily make one last three days if you wanted. The banana nut ones are soooo good.
Our friends sell their jewelry there most every weekend, unless there is a feast day or craft sale at their pueblos.
