Hi, there,

I am relocating with my husband to Saratoga in 2 weeks time from overseas. I am 7 months plus pregnant and need to find a OB-GYN in the Saratoga Spring urgently. We are covered by company sponsored PPO plan and generally won't worry too much about costs.

Any good recommendations?

Thanks a lot

Congratulations! You can also look up doctors on the NYS Department of Health web site to see if they are board certified and have had recent malpractice actions -- New York State Department of Health. I went to Dr. Naomi Bloomfield at OB/GYN Health Center Associates in Clifton Park. Liked her a lot. She is down to earth and I also thought she was very thorough. You may also want to check where the doctor has admitting privileges. There are several hospitals in the Capital District and the docs don't generally have admitting privileges to all of them.
