But how do you explain and correlate all the 'evidence' when it comes to Women who shoot? There are a LOT of women involved in the sport...Babes With Bullets (I'm in one of the videos! ;-D). I don't fit his stereotype at all... I'm sort of middle of the road. And... As far as I know, I've never seen any ... er... tumescence... ... anyway... the greatest problem with studies like this is the bias prior to the study. Some of the decisions about who to include in one group, and who to leave out left me scratching my head. And, inquiring minds want to know, wouldn't that tungsten band, all by itself, cause some reaction? I'm just sayin...

My wife is well-trained in the shooting arts. She knows exactly where the guns are and how to use them. Fortunately, we live in an area where the need to use said skills, at least in a self-defense capacity, is extremely low.

Cycle the slide(never keep a round chambered in the home)-thumb clicks the safety-point-shoot. Not too hard. (The .357 is too powerful to shoot inside the house. A nice .40 hollow point is more than adequate, especially when there's 10 of them).

Was watching an NRA show the other day. If your going to use a gun for home defense which personally I highly recommend. Use bird shot in it. Your going to be shooting close up and it won't penetrate walls possibly taking out your kids or worse your aquarium. (just kidding honey) A good bird shot round will put a hurt on someone without collateral damage. Good Tip. Also, the person that is shooting at you is shooting to kill you do the same.

Well, ever since 7 April 1986, don't go as regularly as I used to, but still attend at least once a week, sometimes twice. Proly have more opportunities down here than up there, even in the small town of Mebane, there are 2/week.

Firearms = A useful tool;

Alcohol = Enjoyable entertainment;

Firearms + Alcohol = 16 years in a federal prison for shooting a hole in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Just ask Daniel Lewis.

People do stupid things when they are drunk, and firearms are not something you want to be doing stupid things with.

One of the advantages of not having children in the house (german shephard dogs excepted) is that I can/and do...keep a loaded 12 guage pump shotgun and a loaded .41 mag single action revolver 6.5 in. barrel in easy reach. and,... of course the two gsd's get peoples attention also, my early warning system, we live off of the road, back in the woods.
