I am from Mississippi, I have been here for a month (tomorrow). I got offered a teaching position here, and decided to go for it. Yeah I did move alone, but I have already made some great friends. Oh, and I don't mind you asking questions, that is all I have done for the past year. Ask away I really love talking about this place.

Went out on the river for the first time today, very calm day.

There was another Commercial Opener today, I can't think of this person's name(he knows me, go figure).

Mom reeling in her first silver of the day, first of many.

My kind of woman, drives her boat up from the village and fishes and catches right after another.

Had to zoom in to check out her....um...fishing tackle.

Clouds were coming in, time to go home, looks like rain.

Boat made rainbow

Throttle linkage broke half way home, high idle anyone?

About ready to dump on us. Lucky we made it home in time!

"I hope we don't have motor trouble...outboard breaks. "I hope it doesn't rain." We just got home as the clouds opened up. Crazy mom.

Three ravens and a seagull walk into a bar....

We caught a total of 12 silvers today. Little chief here we come!

Good times Warpt! And what a nice guy. Taking Mom out for some fishing fun. I can't believe you didn't drift down into the boat load of ladies and give them some "I'm out of gas" excuse for a phone number or something! Especially the cute one with the fine fishing tackle!

That water looked mirror calm. Hard to beat a day on the water when it's like that...

I did stop by and talk to the lovely gals. The one in the middle had her rod upside down, she can't crank with her left hand. I switched the crank for her so she can use the rod the normal way.

I just took these 15 minutes ago from my front porch. The rainbow had the backdrop of Twin Peaks and encompassed Pioneer Peak. Never before have I seen a rainbow where the ENTIRE arch of it was visible. Awesome!
