Anyone out there know where you can go shooting at on the island? Beside thre Kodiak Island Sportsman Club/Gun Range. I heard they have been "cracking down" on people shooting where they are not supposed to be. I wasnt sure if this was just a push to make making off the gun range or if it was for real

They should crack down on it. Kodiak is more redneck than the most southern parts of Mississippi. As soon as you leave town there are approximately 452 bullet holes in each sign you pass. I can't count the number of times I've been out at the beach only to see some jackass pumping rounds out of his 45 in the parking lot blowing up glass bottles.
They need to take all the people riding 4 wheelers and all the people who want to shoot guns and put them in the same area. Get them real liquored up and let the problem solve itself.
