I noticed this morning that original posts and replies in a thread by the original poster now display with a green background.

Not complaining. Just wanted to mention that I noticed the change. In long threads, this should make it easier to notice replies by the original poster.

Admin.. I like the green also.

What also would be nice if a different ICON on the selection screen. That show when the original O/P has (re) post'ed to the thread since last time i open thread. Some thread go on and on. But would be nice to know if the Original O/P reposts to the thread.

You can't see a difference in the colour of Bo's post above? Perhaps it's your browser?
I'm using Safari on an iMac and the background colour of his OP in this thread is a very pale green.

I think it's a good change.

Yes, it's a new feature. The exact way the original posters are highlighted in the thread is subject to a change, though.

My vote on this change is an emphatic NO!!

It makes it hard, to impossible, for those with low vision or color problems ,such as myself, to read the post.

IMO it wasn't broke so don't "fix it" !!

Why is it that those with handicaps ,that vary from vision problems to physical concerns, are never considered when changes are made??

God know we have to put up with a whole host of life challenges let alone come here to CD , where we can relax and discuss many topics, to find new challenges to our free time.

Grandpa Pipes, thanks for the input. Do you find the contrast to be too low now or is it another issue?

Thank you for asking.

For me it's the color. I can't see light green or light blue (which is the color i see displayed) with the new software change. I don't know if you remember but I asked for beige display when I first joined CD which you kindly granted. Beige background and black text is what works best for me due to my color concern and most folks with any sort of vision (sadly, not all vision issues but most) issues.

I'm not sure what you wish to accomplish but is it possible to change the color of the posters name only leaving the background alone?

Note: I had to ask my wife to tell me what colors were being displayed this morning since the new colors just blanked me out.
