Does anyone else use Google Chrome? I have occasional problems with it, and only when trying to access this site. I'll click to move to a certain forum or thread, and will receive this message:
Quote:
No data received
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
I refresh a few times, and eventually will get the page I want. But I don't know why this happens, or why it happens only on City-Data.
This doesn't happen with Firefox, nor does it happen with any other website while I'm using Chrome.
Any ideas? Is it the site, the browser, my computer?
I'm e-mailing the fine *ahem* folks at Google as well.
Can't be the browser or CD. I'm using Chrome, too and I practically live on the forums with no issues at all.
Could be your Internet connection or an ad block / anti virus software you're using. You might post this question on our Internet forum to find people who actually know something about these things.
I have been using Chrome for a while now. I also get those messages but it is my internet provider just being slow. It does come back normally if I wait a few minutes.
I have used modzilla and had the same problem only I didn't get a message just a slow response.
I agree ask the folks on the computer/internet forum. They are a lot smarter than me.
