Storm definitely slowed down. Now starting Saturday morning here.

Yeah, was watching Bernie just now, Southern CT definitely a Battle ground. Slight shift north and easily 10" of snow but I personally feel this is NOT a big deal for northern CT and MA..No big deal. That's my current opinion.

Thinking to myself.. Without getting too technical .. Upper Lows do not move as fast as surface lows. That's why this isn't a 6hr event. It's one of my favorite features.

I'm also impressed how far south it will be! Over the Gulf states! Just imagine it was 200 miles north... we would be in the 1-3 foot range up this way.

The other thing I rarely see them do is move due East. They almost always curl back Northeast as shown with my arrows...not the X's

With that said, that is the move we would need in order for us to get more snow than thought.

However, since it's forming in the south its possible it does just swing off the coast NOT benefiting us and then curls Northeast in the Atlantic too late for us.. That's probably whats going on.

This is all "wondering" because it's going against the only tools we have to look ahead. I just don't see it going straight across. We'll see..
