Description: This small, cozy restaurant—with comfortable upholstered chairs and fresh flowers on every table—is friendly and inviting, and the food is among the best in town. The grilled chicken Caesar salad is excellent, as is the duck confit, which includes crispy fried organic baby spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. Alice’s also serves delicious crab cakes, and there’s a menu for kids too. North Coast labels predominate on the wine list, many available by the glass. Description: Sebastopol has certainly come up in the restaurant world, with this restaurant awarded a Michelin star in 2007. K&L Bistro owners and chefs Lucas and Karen Martin brought impressive restaurant résumés with them when they opened their own place in Sebastopol. You can count on French onion soup, steak frites, vegetable risotto, and apple rhubarb crisp to round out the meal. Open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday.
