BERLIN — When Marc Guerin, a software salesman, drives the 38 kilometers from his home west of Paris to Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, he seeks out the fastest route for his Audi Q5 crossover and powers up his Coyote, a radar warning and traffic service that alerts him to the locations of France’s 3,000 speed cameras.
They are but not a GPS based systems that simply alert to the location of speed traps. There are many systems like this in the US.
If this is simply a GPS with a speedcamera database, these have been around for years. Not quite "news" in my opinion. Using actual radar detectors on public roads is illegal here, however one can buy them legally.
Wanna know the best way to avoid getting caught by speed cameras?
Go the speed limit!
