Here's an early morning view of Lake Tahoe in January looking out the back door.

And this is the view of Tahoe from the Homewood Ski Resort.

I saw that beautiful view many a time when I was stationed at Ft Ord. Thanks for the reminder.

Spent some time at Hume Lake and Kings Canyon last week. They had record snowfall this year and it had actually snowed the prior weekend. So waterfalls and rivers are raging:

Awesome photos as always Derek. I'm driving the moving truck out to Rocklin this Friday, finally. Can't wait to get up in the Sierra foothills and see some of the scenery! Then up to Tahoe... and out to Napa and the coast. Can't wait.

Default Yosemite

Lived in California my entire life & finally made it to Yosemite. Like Derek says, we had a lot of rainfall this year & the rivers and waterfalls are extremely active. Only wish I had more time to see more of the park.

Yes, in Prairie Creek. There, Redwood National Park and Jedediah Smith tend to have the biggest. Another below from PCRSP.
