More exciting talent. Better storylines. Better drama.

Legit, I could name you more women college players right now than men.

Edey, Bronny.......that's really all I got, I don't follow prep or college hoops like I once did. Stupid conference realignment, Maryland to the Big10 outside of our historic recruiting territory to play brutalist games that end in the 60s/rant off.

Kudos to the women's game for having legit stars and the media for doing a good job marketing them.

I gotta admit. Don't know the college mens stars. Here are the top 5 of the 25: 1) Uconn.(Don't know the players but will catch up on their names soon), 2) Purdue (I know Edey. That's it although someone has to give him the ball and scoring support), 3) North Carolina (Don't know the players. I just know they just beat Duke), 4) Kansas (Names elude me), 5)Houston (No clue on the players). I know the Kentucky players-Sheppard, Dillingham, Bradshaw, Reeves. Wagner, Edwards (from Philly-watched him in the state tournament in PA). Just searched and Kentucky isn't even #1 in the SEC. That would be Alabama where, again, wouldn't know their squad if I tripped over them.

The women's game gets the benefit of players staying 4 years. The one-and-dones have really killed the men's game. A lot of people are reluctant to admit that but the truth is that it's hard to create compelling storylines when you have so much roster turnover.

If Iowa and LSU meet again in the tourney, I wouldn't be surprised if it shatters the existing NCAA viewership record for a single game. Maybe as big as Indiana State vs Michigan State in '79.
