EHS to facility to follow up for what processes will be used taking food to classes. Discussed with owner, Milk will be poured, by the cook, into cups for class next to kitchen. Milk going to toddler room will go in pitcher, after meals, any remaining milk will be discarded, and pitcher washed, rinsed, sanitized. Owner stated, review done with staff, last step before serving food, wash hands, then put on food gloves. Food gloves now sent on trays with class food items. Good processes described.,

Overall very good sanitation. Clean well organized facility, with good food temperatures, good handwashing by cook, good glove use, sanitizer in place at 200 ppm Cl and used.n Good employee health knowledge with some clarification needed for actions to take for close contact with reportable diseases. Discussed with cook (PIC) review with all staff. Today EHS "followed the food" to a class to observe serving noted, hands not washed immediately before putting on gloves for service and discussed with teacher. Also noted teacher coming in kitchen during lunch for additional food item - hands not washed in kitchen - per worker washed in teachers wash room just off of main room and door not touched. Discussed with PIC - review with all staff have all entering the kitchen that touch anything wash hands when entering the kitchen and review last step before putting on gloves before serving is handwashing. **Reviewed milk goes to rooms in gallon containers, location where placed not always on sanitized tray* Discussed: Suggest change process so that all milk returning to kitchen brought to cook, container cleaned off/sanitized before placing in refrigerator for facility food or use sanitized pitchers and discard any leftover milk so that gallons do not leave kitchen then get returned to refrigerator. *Also noted food gloves stored in drawer with other items including cream. Change storage for gloves. PIC noted location for all gloves will be checked and gloves put in location away from all other items for child-care.* Noted part of new kitchen cabinets in place. Four staff need updated food handler cards - discussed. Also noted dishes "dipped" in sanitizer before putting up to drain - ensure dishes remain in sanitizer 30 seconds to a minute.

Overall excellent. Observed good food temperatures, labeling and storage. Good knowledge, clean, well organized facility with sanitizer in place at 100 and 200 ppm Cl and used. Good employee health knowledge. Kitchen cabinets being replaced to have smooth, durable, cleanable surfaces.

Reviewed with owner, review with all staff.     Observation: Mixed knowledge of employee health policy, with some symptoms known, and diseases not known.
    Correction: Flyer already present, reviewed with owner, ensure entire policy is reviewed with all staff.

Mixed knowledge for employee health, please review entire policy with entire staff. Discussed eight major allergens and flyer given. Discussed upcoming requirement to post statement that sanitation inspection reports are available to read on Virginia Department of Health website.

Inspection done before snack time, so no food handling seen. Clean well organized facility with good handwashing and sanitizer in place at 200 ppm Cl and used. Noted, floor replaced by water heater due to previous leak, pending new floor installation. Cabinets not smooth and cleanable. Discussed with cook, likely will be replaced when floor is done.

Overall excellent. Regular cook out, substitute cook in place, with some minor issues noted and addressed. Plates, cups etc. located on counter under paper towels for handwashing and moved after discussed risk of splash from handwashing. Additionally, container of juice in handwashing sink, removed and wiped with sanitizer. Good food temperatures, good utensil use to prevent bare hand contact, good handwashing, sanitizer in place at 50 ppm Cl. Discussed with owner, staff food located in reach in refrigerator with facility food. Per owner all staff food must be placed in staff reach in refrigerator and issue will be addressed. Discussed, some staff food must be placed in facility refrigerator it must be placed below and separate from facility food.
