A complaint was received stating about the issues such as floor not kept clean in food prep areas, standing water in kitchen. As per the complainant the management was notified however was not taken care of. Complainant provided pictures.
Manager on duty was unaware of the complaint. During the inspection standing water was noted on the floor in the food prep areas. Food stored on top of crates and one container of sugar observed on floor. Food must be placed on shelves six inches above floor. Operator voluntarily placed food on shelves. Walk in refrigerator registered at 53 degrees F. As per the operator said unit was being cleaned. Potentially hazardous food registered at a range of 45-50 degrees F. Unit temperature must be lowered to 41 degrees F. Operator voluntarily lowered the temperature of said unit.

  • Utensils - In-Use - Between-Use Storage (corrected on site)
    Observation: In-use utensils improperly stored between use in that ice scoop observed with handle touching the ice used for consumption by customer.
    Correction: Store in-use utensils or dispensing utensils in one of the following manners: 1) In the food with their handles above the top of the food and the container. 2) In food that is not potentially hazardous with their handles above the top of the food within containers or equipment that can be closed. 3) On a clean portion of the food preparation table or cooking equipment only if the in-use utensil and the food-contact surface of the food preparation table or cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized every 4 hours. 4) In running water of sufficient velocity to flush particulates to the drain. 5) In a clean, protected location if the utensils are used only with a food that is not potentially hazardous. 6) In a container of water if the water is maintained at a temperature of at least 135°F.

1. Provide outdoor garbage receptacle for the facility prior to opening.
2. Provide unit thermometer for refrigeration units. All other pre-opening conditions were passed.
- Units registered at adequate temperature.
- Hand washing facilities provided with hot and cold running water.
- Floor, walls ceiling in good conditions.
- Rest-rooms adequately functioning and supplied.
Facility and equipments must be thoroughly cleaned prior to opening and accepting food.
Post construction inspection passed. Permit approved.
