The purpose of today's visit was to conduct a routine inspection. Critical violations were not observed during today's inspection. Observed excellent date marking practices. Correct the remaining non-critical violation within 90 days.
- Equipment / Good Repair / Components / Gaskets
Observation: The door gaskets of the following unit are torn: front 2-door reach-in refrigerator.
Correction: Equipment components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners, and kick plates shall be kept intact, tight, and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Replace the gaskets.

Observation: Upon discussion with the person-in-charge, one or more of the elements of an effective employee health policy is either missing or incomplete. A complete employee health policy is required to be in place at the food establishment. At the time of this inspection, the Health Department provided and reviewed handouts and resource information in a red folder labeled "Employee Health Policy.
Correction: A complete employee health policy must have the following elements:
1) Employee training on foodborne illness, particularly symptoms of illness and prevention of the Big Five illnesses (see "What is Foodborne Illness" handout)
- Equipment / Non Food / Design / Easy Clean (repeated violation)
Observation: Milk/soda crates found used for the of keep supplies above the floor.
Correction: Milk crates, soda crates, and/or bread racks are not designed to store or elevate food, equipment, utensils, clean linens, and single-service items. Provide only ANSI-certified (such as NSF-listed) shelving units, storage units, or dunnage racks.
- Equipment / Good Repair / Operation
Observation: The walk-in freezer is not operating properly and is unable to maintain cold food frozen.
Correction: Repair/adjust the unit so it is able to maintain foods at a frozen state.Do not use the unit to store potentially hazardous foods while it is not operating properly. Transfer all potentially hazardous foods that are 41-F or lower to the refrigerator immediately. Items that are still hard frozen may stay in the unit until repairs are done. Continue to monitor the temperature of the food items that are presently in the unit to ensure that they are frozen. You may transfer them to the refrigerator and maintain at 41-F or lower if necessary . Do not return the items transferred after the freezer is fixed.
- Toilet Rooms, Enclosed / Self-Closing Door
Observation: The women's toilet room door is not provided with a self-closing door.
Correction: Provide a self-closing hinge or closing mechanism for the toilet room door.
- Toilet Room Doors Kept Closed
Observation: Observed that the women's toilet room door was being kept open.
Correction: Keep toilet room doors closed to prevent insect and rodent entrance and the associated spread of potential disease.
