- Handwashing Lavatory, Water Temperature, and Flow
Observation: Water from the handwashing sink on the line was measured at a temperature less than 100°F.
Correction: Make necessary adjustments to valves and lines serving the handsink to provide water of at least 100°F to allow more effective removal of fatty soils encountered in kitchens.
- Plumbing System Maintained in Good Repair
Observation: Hot waster valve to the hand sink on the sandwich line does not function.
Correction: Repair and maintain all plumbing components and fixtures.
- Handwashing Cleanser - Availability (corrected on site)
Observation: Soap was not provided at the hand washing lavatory in the kitchen.
Correction: Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.

Observation: The gaps between the flooring and bases of the Walk-in Cooler, Walk-in Freezer and other equipment/furniture where exposure to spillage or seepage were likely required caulking/sealing.
Correction: Caulk/seal the areas identified where exposure to spillage/seepage were likely to happen and make cleaning difficult to do.

Observation: Unable to identify location of back-flow prevention devices at the beverage making stations and ice making/soda fountain.
Correction: Ask installer of beverage making equipment and ice making/soda fountain to show you where the back-flow prevention devices are located and relay this information to the Inspector.
