  • Backflow Prevention Device, Design Standard (corrected on site)
    Observation: The backflow or backsiphonage prevention device installed on the mop sink is not identified as meeting standards set by the American Society of Sanitary Engineering. Using a device that is not rated to be under constent pressure.
    Correction: Provide the approved backflow or backsiphonage device for the specific application and type of device to prevent contamination of the drinking water system. Operator removed the constent pressure from the device during the inspection and agreed to keep it this way moving forward.

    Observation: Products for credit, redemption, or return is not being stored in a separate designated area. Observed can of pink salmon with dented seam stored on shelf with other non-dented cans on storage shelf.
    Correction: Segregate products for credit, redemption, or return (damage, spoiled or recalled items) from other food, equipment, linens and single-service and single-use articles being used in the establishment to avoid the mistaken use of these items. Train staff to physically separate dented cans for return.
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair
    Observation: Grout near dish machine is not maintained in good repair. missing grout observed near dish machine
    Correction: Maintain physical facilities in good repair. Poor repair and maintenance compromises the functionality of the physical facilities. Replace/repair missing grout as soon as possible
  • Critical: Toxics - Storage of Toxic Containers* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Observed employee personal care item (lotion) stored on slicer housing.
    Correction: Ensure employee personal care items are stored properly
