EHS Observed proper glove use, hair restraint and food worker taking food temperatures. Dry storage and cabinets observed to be visibly clean and well organized. No eggs served at the facility and pasteurized milk and juice used only. All meats are precooked food items. Microwave is used for reheating vegetables for children. EHS discussed reheating process with microwaves. Be cautious of over stocking refrigeration units as it will reduce air flow and prevent unit from holding food at proper temperatures. Food handler card current but recommend a backup food handler when main food worker calls in sick.Health employee information readily available. Chemical storage is separate from food items and away from children. Sysco delivers food to facility and is observed. PIC states she checks if food is frozen however EHS recommend taking temperatures of foods as milk to ensure food is delivered at required temperatures. This is your first step in prevent contaminated/adulterated food from entering your facility.

Establishment was inspected during lunch preparation. Employee Health is in place. Person in charge states that only vegetables are used the following day and date marked. Ensure proper cooling and reheating steps are followed.Cooling must be done as 135 to 70F no longer than 2 hrs and down to 41F total of 6 hrs and reheating to 165F. Proper glove use was observed and proper hair restraints. Food handler cards need updated for food handlers. Person in charge states all foods are manufactures and heated before serving. No visible signs of pest/rodent infestation.
