There is no certified food manager employed here at this time. Operator said several employees are scheduled for class. Advised Va Beach city ordinance requires presence of CFM a minimum of 8 hours daily during operating hours.

    Observation: Unlabeled food container. (cooking oil).
    Correction: Label working containers with the common name of its contents. Consumers may be allergic to certain foods or ingredients. The mistaken use of an ingredient when the consumer has requested that it not be used may result in severe medical consequences. Liquid foods and granular foods may resemble cleaning compounds. The mistaken use of food from an unlabeled container could result in chemical poisoning.

    Observation: Employee's earrings are stored in food prep area.
    Correction: Employees that regularly change their clothes in the establishment should use the dressing room or lockers provided.

    Observation: Working container of cleaning chemical is not properly labeled.
    Correction: Working containers of toxic items are to be properly labeled with contents. Identification of these containers with the common name of the material helps prevent the dangerous misuse of the contents.

    Observation: Food contact surfaces of the pizza rings used to prepare/store potentially hazardous food items were observed soiled with accumulations of food residues.
    Correction: Clean food-contact surfaces of pizza rings no less than every 4 hours to prevent the growth microorganisms on those surfaces.

    Observation: Employees' clothing and personal items are on top of wrapped unassembled pizza boxes.
