A pre-opening inspection was conducted at the facility. The following observations were made: 1. Lighting intensity measurements were made throughout the cafe and are OK. 2. Reviewed calking and sealing requirements for all counters, equipment, and sinks. Calking OK. 3. Reviewed air gaps, back flow prevention devices, and air break requirements for equipment within facility which are OK. 4. Ceiling tiles appear to be adequate throughout the facility and OK. 5. Covered solid waste disposal containers are OK. 6. Physical facility surfaces appear to be smooth and cleanable and OK. 7. All coving around joints (between the floors and vertical surfaces) are in place and OK. 8. Hand sink is OK with warm water, soap, and towels. 9. Vent hood available with lighting. 10. Entire facility is very clean. 11. All refrigeration equipment is OK with adequate thermometers. 12. All permits and inspections by local authorities must have final inspection approval prior to final approval by this Department. 13. Three (3) compartment sink provided for ware washing and OK with air break. 14. Mop sink provided and OK. 15. Bathroom provided and OK. 16. Adequate hand washing signs in place. 17.
