    Observation: Food employees are not informed of their responsibility to report to their PIC information concerning their health and activities as they relate to diseases transmitted through food.
    Correction: PIC is to advise employees of their responsibility to report in accordance with law information concerning their health and activities as they relate to diseases transmitted through food. Talked to person in charge regarding employee health and importance of advising employees their resposibility to report symptoms of sickness. Gave person in charge copy of VDH Guide to Employee Health and Safe Working Statement.

    Observation: Upon entry to kitchen noticed employee sniffing a lot. When asked how she was she said she was sick and did not feel good. Advised person in charge of situation and employee was removed from food service.
    Correction: Prevent employees who are experiencing persistent sneezing, coughing or a runny nose that causes discharges from the eyes, nose or mouth from working with exposed food clean equipment, utensils, and linens, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.
