| Informed by program coordinator (Betsy Pace) meals are prepared off site by a contracted food firm and delivered on premise. The meals are delivered on Wednesdays and first and third Fridays of every month. The meals are prepared off site served on premise with most meals being home delivered (Meals on Wheels) by an individual who works for the facility. Temperatures are taken on the hot and cold foods to assure they are held at the proper temperatures. The kitchen area does have a three compartment sink for cleaning equipment, hand wash sink for proper washing hands, and refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave oven but mainly used for personal use and private parties. A follow-up inspection of the firm will be conducted in the near future when the foods are being served. No violation noted during this evaluation. | 12/16/2013 | Routine |
