    Observation: Less than 50 foot candles of light was noted at the cooking line. Measured 25-40 foot-candles.
    Correction: Provide at least 50 foot candles at a surface where food employee are working with food or utensils. Recommend 100 watt bulbs or equivalent fluorescent lamps in exhaust hood light fixtures.
  • Lighting, Intensity
    Observation: Less that 10 foot candles of light was noted in the beer walk-in cooler. Measured less that 5 foot candles.
    Correction: Provide at least 10 foot candles at a distance of 30 inches from the floor in the walk-in refrigeration units. Recommend 100 watt bulb or equivalent fluorescent lamp. Beer walk-in may require a second light fixture in the rear of the unit.
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair (repeated violation)
    Observation: Dead lamps in kitchen ceiling lights and in light fixture bar under counter.
    Correction: Replace dead lamps.
