    Observation: Observed the right hand door gasket to the Green World 2 door reachin was torn and is in poor repair.
    Correction: Repair or replace the door gasket in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

  • Critical: Plumbing System Maintained in Good Repair (corrected on site)
    Observation: Trap in floor under three compartment sink clogged and caused grey water to overflow onto flow. Drain had already been snaked and was in process of cleaning the waste water up at inspection.
    Correction: Repair and maintain all plumbing components ans fixtures.

- Scoops and utensils observed properly stored.
- Hand sink working and fully stocked.
- No cooking taking place during inspection.
- All food staff possess a current Food Handler card.
  • Critical: Food - Packaged and Unpackaged - Separation, Packaging, and Segregation* (corrected on site)
    Observation: Raw food of animal origin holding in a manner that may cause cross contamination of to ready-to-eat food (RTE). Observed raw chicken next to ready-to-eat wrapped deli meats.
    Correction: Separate raw foods during storage, preparation, holding, and display from raw RTE food including other raw food such as fish for sushi or molluscan shellfish, or other raw RTE food such as vegetables, and cooked RTE food.

Pre-opening inspection report:
- No food temperatures taken at time of inspection. No food on premises.
- Quats used as sanitizer. Test strips to be ordered prior to opening.
- Observed hot, running water at all sinks in facility.
- Observed proper working thermometers in all cold-holding units.
- Cake display near front window to be sectioned off at bench area to prevent access to kitchen by children.
- Doors that lead to office area and restaurant to be locked on Saturday evenings so that church service located next door may use the rest-rooms only and not have access to the restaurant.
- Church service on Sunday mornings only <15 people.
- Proper hand washing signs located at all hand sinks.
- Exit door that leads outside to trash area to be replaced with door that opens outward (per Fire code).
- New Pepsi machine to be brought in. Discussed with PIC proper cleaning and sanitizing of ice machine prior to use. Discard first two batched of ice.
- Dipper well with continuos flow to be installed near snow cone machine.
- All employees must have current Food Handler's card as per City of Suffolk Ordinance Section 40-27.
- Employee health discussed with PIC.
- No C.O. needed.
- Permit issued upon HACCP plan for daily critical control points such as food temperatures and sanitization process of utensils and food contact surfaces.
