Upon inspection, they have done a great job in repairing and renovating to meet all requirements for the 2013 health code. Permit was issued. No Certified Food manager. No employee has food handlers cards. The facilities are extremely dilapidated and in need of major repairs. It has been requested to halt all food services until renovations have been made.

Correction: Clean and sanitize these surfaces for food contact.

Observation: There are not an adequate number of handwash lavatories on site. (See 12 VAC5-421-2280)
Correction: Install additional lavatories to increase the employee's opportunity to wash hands routinely. Prior to installing additional plumbing fixtures the permit holder must apply and gain approval through the necessary regulatory agencies.

Notre: The facility was given a grant to remodel. Please provide a plan for the kitchen and the bar. In the remodel, a hand sink, as well as, a hood for the stove, must be installed. New code requirements were also discussed, as well as employee health, hand washing, and no bare hand contact with ready to eat foods. A permit was issued. Thank You

There were no TCS foods cold holding during the inspection. Hot dogs and hamburgers are cooked from a frozen state. The facility has no hand sink, but has two three compartment sinks. Use the bar sink for hand washing only. Employee health, hand washing, and no bare hand contact with ready to eat food was discussed. Thank You.
