    Observation: Wiping cloths improperly stored between use.(Sitting out on counters).
    Correction: Ensure wet wiping cloths are stored in a chemical sanitizer at the proper concentration between use.
  • Nonfood Contact Surfaces
    Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the wall to handsink attached to wall is not designed or constructed to be easily cleanable.(Caulking in disrepair).
    Correction: Alter or replace this item to provide a surface that is free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices.Recaulk sink to wall junction.
  • Temperature Measuring Devices
    Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in the walkin and treachin coolers.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: Door Handle to walkin freezer was observed in a state of disrepair and damaged.
    Correction: Repair the door handle to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the door, replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.

    Observation: Observed a hose attached to a faucet fixture. The hose extended below the flood rim level of the sink basin.
    Correction: Install an approved backflow prevention device or alter the length of the hose to provide the necessary separation between the water supply and the flood rim level of the sink basin. The minimum allowable separation distance must be at least 2x the diameter of the water supply inlet and at least 1 inch.

    Observation: Food Blender containers were observed in a state of disrepair and damaged.( Chipping of plastic- rim areas)
    Correction: Replace the blender containers which are in disrepair, with that one meets the specifications o the manufacturer.

    Observation: Observed accumulations of grime and debris on the following food contact surfaces: MasterBilt 2 dr freezer (Interior surfaces not clean and ice buil-up on interior blast freezer door.
    Correction: Clean and sanitize these surfaces for food contact and remove ice from door gasket areas.

    Observation: Plumbing system/Handsink to Main kitchen area is not in proper working condition.(Water flow drainage is stopped up-Sign posted and sink taped off for non use.
    Correction: All repairs to plumbing equipment and lines are to be in accordance with law. Properly repair the handsink for proper water flow & drainage.( Issue to be corrected by by a licensed plumber).

    Observation: Bottom interior shelve of Green World Freezer was observed in a state of disrepair and condition that prevents necessary maintenance and easy cleaning.(Ice build -up ),and the 1 door Silver King Lowboy reefer is not in operational.
    Correction: Replace/Repair/clean the equipment to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the unit, replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.
  • Critical: Equipment - Food Contact Surfaces and Utensils
    Observation: Surfaces of the automatic blender containers which are in contact with non-potentially hazardous food items, were observed soiled with accumulations of grime and food debris.(Inside containers,lids,equipment).Equipment was not clean.
    Correction: Re clean/Clean the surface of all food equipment/parts at any time where contamination/non cleanliness may have occurred, before restocking the consumer equipment/utensils,parts/ per manufacturer specifications.

    Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the interior shelf area of the Green World and Master-Bilt 2 dr freezer had accumulations of food grime and debris.
    Correction: Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted.

    Correction: Obtain a Qt.sanitizing test kit so that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.

    Observation: Silver King(1 door) lowboy freezer was observed in a state of disrepair and damaged.(Coil/Compressor).Unit not working/Operational.
    Correction: Repair the Silver King(1 door)/Lowboy reezer to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the unit at front counter area , replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.

    Observation: The food contact surfaces of the nozzles used for icing bags had rust on the food contact surfaces.
    Correction: Nonfood contact equipment that is exposed to splash, spillage, food soiling, or requires frequent cleaning must be smooth, durable, and nonabsorbent. Once surfaces are rusty, discard items.
