  • Hair Restraints - Effectiveness
    Observation: Employees observed working in the food service area without proper hair restraints.
    Correction: Ensure all employees wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, beard restraints, and clothing that covers body hair, that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food clean equipment, utensils, and linens, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.
  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: True refrigerator was observed at 41 degrees and unable to cool the amount of food present at the time of inspection.
    Correction: Have the temperature of the unit turned down to 38 degrees so that when the refrigerator is used, the temperature of the food inside does not exceed 41 degrees. If this amount of food present today is normal (whole shelf full of milks, whole other shelf full of boxes yogurts) the unit may not have good circulation of air that prevents proper cooling. More refrigeration may be needed for the facility.
