    Observation: Mechanically vented hood filters not in good repair or have gaps in between filters.
    Correction: Repair or replace hood filters and/or eliminate gaps between filters.

    Correction: Store ice bucket in a clean, dry location where not exposed to splash, dust or other contamination at least 6 inches above the floor.

    Correction: Clean the food contact surface of the bisquit warming unit to prevent accumulations that may reduce heat transfer to adequately cook food and to prevent attract of insects when not in use.
  • Refuse - Covering Receptacles (corrected on site)
    Observation: Dumpster sidedoor observed open.
    Correction: Cover all waste containers when not in continuous use.

    Observation: Surfaces of the ice machine was in contact with non-potentially hazardous food items that were observed soiled with accumulations of grime and debris.
    Correction: Clean the surface of ice machine at any time when contamination may have occurred, at least every 24 hours, before restocking the consumer self-service equipment/utensils, or per manufacturer specifications.
  • Backflow Prevention Device, Design Standard
    Observation: The backflow or backsiphonage prevention device installed on the mop sink is not identified as meeting standards set by the American Society of Sanitary Engineering.
    Correction: Provide the approved backflow or backsiphonage device for the specific application and type of device to prevent contamination of the drinking water system. (double check valve with atmospheric vent for hose attached under pressure)

    Correction: Protect the food establishment against the entry of insects and rodents by 1. Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings, 2. Closed, tight fitting windows, and 3. Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Insects and rodents are vectors of disease-causing microorganisms which may be transmitted to humans by contamination of food and food-contact surfaces.
