Facility serves breakfast, lunch and AM/PM snacks. Food is prepared and served, no hot holding. Teachers serve food to children and new plates are used for seconds

    Correction: Recommend that the PIC advise employees of their responsibility to report in accordance with law information concerning their health and activities as they relate to diseases transmitted through food. Recommend maintaining a means to verify employee health training. EHS provided Form 1B.

Liquid pasteurized eggs used for breakfast.. Discussed "second helpings" Teacher handles and uses new plate if necessary.

Food served throughout week with re use until Friday then all is discarded. Fire extinguisher checked 4/2013. No hot food to temp as just starting to cook. Good use of handwashing and glove use.

Discussed cooling methods. Place in shallow container and cool to less than 70 degrees before covering. Recommend monitoring RIC for cold holding . Check in the am and between lunch and snack and then at close. May need to call for service.

    Observation: The temperature measuring device does not read out in proper increments.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device that is scaled in increments of no greater than 2 degrees F to ensure accurate readings.
