It all depends where in Florida you a going to live. There are areas in central and north Florida that feel like you are in georgia or tennessee. And then there's other places that feel like you're in Mexico.

This post is in the Palm Beach County section so I assume that's where you're going. STAY AWAY from anything south of Northlake Blvd. all the way to Delray Beach basically. In my opinion the only safe areas are Jupiter, Boca Raton, and Loxahatchee/The Acerage.

Please disregard the above post, it's very misleading and obviously from someone who doesn't go out much. That is one of the most ridicolous things I heard: ANYTHING from Northlake Blvd to delray?????So almost the entire Palm Beach County?? Lol!!
Most of West palm is not that bad, you have areas that can be sketchy, but in any city you'll have some. Riviera Beach can be still rough especially west of US1, although gentrification is in full gear.
So, according to you Jcalhoun, the entire West Palm Beach (south, west, north, east) is bad. Boynton Beach all bad, Lake Worth all bad, Lantana, Greenacres, uscale Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park and who knows what I am forgetting all bad areas??? What, people are not nice at Publix?
